In fact, Lessig argues, the Internet is quite possibly the most regulable technology ever invented, and if we don’t realize that fact, and protect ourselves from it, we’re in for some serious pain down the road. And for Lessig, the government isn’t the only potential regulator. Instead, Lessig argues, commercial interests may become the most pervasive regulators on the Internet.
Comment by Gerd: this is a very real danger IMHO - your thoughts ?

Really an interesting aspect - and I definitely agree with Gerd that are facing a very real threat here - even if I am not at all sure if the statement about ‘the most regulable technology’ holds true. But as an opposing thought to the naive crowd who thinks that technologies are redefining the world in a technologically deterministic way it is really worth underlining and repeating!
